
These mods are available on console for free and were added with every modder’s permission. According to Paradox Interactive, this first wave of things like building models and unique items to the Xbox One version of the game. These mods were curated by both the Cities: Skylines community and the developers themselves, so they should be of high quality. That being said, Paradox Interactive and Tantalus Media are taking a stab at it today on Xbox One, adding mods via a free update to that version of Cities: Skylines. Fallout 4 attempted to pave the way for more mod availability on consoles after its launch, but we unfortunately never really saw them take shape due to the more regulatory nature of console marketplaces.
